A proper lamp post, not a miniature one
Standing well over three metres tall, the Wilmslow lamp post is built to the scale of a real Victorian street lamp rather than a garden ornament version of one. A tapered lantern head sits on top of a plain post, finished with a decorative scroll bracket where the two meet and a pointed finial above the roof.
Cast in black
The post and lantern are cast from aluminium and finished in black, with a steel core inside the post for strength. The glass panels are clear rather than textured, so the bulb itself is on full display once lit.
How it works
It takes a single E27 bulb, and the base of the post has an access door built in, so the wiring can be run and connected without having to strip the post down.
Where it works best
Suited to a driveway, a long front path, or anywhere with the space for a light at proper street lamp height rather than one at knee level.
