The Wexford Single Down Wall Lantern is built the way older coach lanterns were, on a shaped scroll arm that lets the lantern body drop below the fixing point rather than sitting flush against the wall. That extra drop and reach gives it a presence you do not get from a flat wall light, and marks it out as a proper period style fitting rather than a plain modern reproduction.

Black and brushed silver finish

The black base finish is worked over with brushed silver across the scrollwork, the dome top and the wall fixing plate, so the detailing on the bracket and lantern body catches the light rather than disappearing into a flat black surface. Grey undertones show through where the two finishes meet, giving the metalwork some depth close up.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder sits behind four panels of textured glass, each one leaded with a diamond motif that echoes the shape of the scroll bracket above. The bulb itself is not included, so you can fit whichever E27 lamp suits the space, and the fitting will dim if you fit a dimmable bulb on a compatible circuit. All the fixings needed to mount the lantern to a wall are included.
