A ring of light for six
The Warwick 6 Light Chandelier gathers six candle style arms around a wrought iron ring, each one hung from its own run of chain that draws up to a single point overhead. It sits one arm fuller than the Warwick 5 Light, giving a rounder spread of candlelight without the extra scale of the larger Warwick chandeliers.
Graphite black finish
The graphite black finish is mottled rather than flat, so the ring, arms and chains pick up light unevenly depending on the angle you view them from. Small diamond shaped studs are set into the ring at intervals, a detail borrowed from wrought ironwork rather than added for show. It reads well against dark wood, aged brass or existing black ironwork in a room.
How it works
Six E14 candle holders ring the fitting, each sitting in its own drip pan, so the light spreads out and down across a room rather than focusing in one spot. Bulbs aren't included, which lets you choose a warm candle style LED to suit the fitting's character. Fitted with dimmable bulbs it works with a dimmer switch, and as a hardwired ceiling fitting we'd always recommend a qualified electrician installs it.
Where it works best
A dining table benefits most from the even ring of light, though a kitchen or a hallway with enough headroom to let the chains hang properly both suit it too. The chain adjusts from 61cm up to 252cm, so it can be set to sit right for the room rather than at a single fixed height.
Elstead Lighting
Warwick is part of Elstead Lighting's decorative range, a British lighting group whose roots trace back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which is still led by the Lucas family today.
