Elstead Warwick 18 Light Chandelier - Graphite Black

Where the twelve light Warwick reads as a single ring, this eighteen light version is built in two tiers, a smaller ring of six lights riding above a wider ring of twelve. It is a serious piece for a serious ceiling, the kind of fitting a stairwell or double height hall is built around.

Graphite black, top to bottom

Both tiers share the same graphite black finish, mottled rather than flat, with diamond shaped studs marking the join points around each ring. Even at this size the detailing stays consistent from the top tier down to the bottom, so it doesn't read as two mismatched fittings stacked together.

How it works

Eighteen E14 candle holders are split between the two rings, six above and twelve below, each with its own drip pan. The light falls in layers rather than from one point, which suits a space you look up into as much as one you sit under.

Where it works best

Grand entrance halls, staircases with a long drop, dining rooms with genuine height, this is not a fitting for a standard ceiling. Give it room above and below and it earns its keep as the first thing anyone notices on the way in.
