A torch reimagined for the wall
Verity takes the shape of a classic hand held torch and turns it into a piece of wall lighting. A slender brass column, polished to a bright gold shine, tapers from a faceted glass shade down to a fine point, standing just over half a metre tall. It reads more like a small sculptural accent than a fixture bolted to the wall.

Where the brushed brass and polished chrome versions of Verity sit back with a softer sheen, this finish is buffed to a full mirror shine, so the column, backplate and every bevelled edge throw back a strong reflection. Above it, the faceted glass shade is cut in a crisp diamond pattern, and against the bright gold column it reads as noticeably more glamorous than a plain painted fitting.
How It Works
A single G9 LED bulb sits inside the cut glass shade, sending light both up through the facets and down into the room below. The bulb isn't included, so you'll need to fit one before use. Choose a dimmable G9 and the light will respond to a dimmer switch, running anywhere from a low background glow to a brighter accent. This fitting wires directly into the wall rather than plugging in, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Its narrow profile and 20cm projection from the wall suit spaces where a wide fitting wouldn't work: either side of a bathroom or dressing table mirror, along a hallway wall, or in a matching pair flanking a doorway. Because it's a single upright column rather than a spread of arms, a run of several Veritys reads as a considered lighting scheme rather than a repeated fixture.
