Warmth cast in polished gold

In polished gold, this slender torchiere leans into a bit of glamour: a mirror bright column narrowing to a fine point, topped with the same faceted glass shade as the rest of the Verity range. It catches ambient light in the room even before the bulb goes on.

Finish

The gold plating is buffed to a full shine rather than a soft brushed look, so the column, backplate and every bevelled edge reflect strongly. It pairs well with warmer bathroom fittings such as brass taps or gold framed mirrors.

How it works

A single G9 bulb sits behind the textured glass shade, casting light both upward through the crystal cut pattern and down into the room. Use a dimmable bulb if you want to bring the level down for evening use.

Where it works best

It suits spaces where you want a compact, upright accent rather than a wide fitting: beside a mirror, along a hallway, or in pairs either side of a doorway. Standing just over half a metre tall and reaching about 20cm from the wall, it doesn't need much space to make an impact.
