A slim exclamation of light
Polished chrome takes Verity's tapering column and turns it into a mirror bright dagger of light, narrowing from a faceted glass shade at the top down to a fine point at the base. It's a striking, minimal silhouette that works as well as a solo statement as it does in pairs.
Finish
The chrome is polished to a proper mirror shine, so the column, standing just over half a metre tall and projecting about 20cm from the wall, doubles as a bright vertical line even when the light itself is off. Above it, the shade is cut glass with a dense diamond texture that scatters the bulb's glow into hundreds of small points.
How it works
One G9 bulb sits inside the shade, sending light up through the textured glass and out into the room below. Choose a dimmable bulb and you can dial the output down for something softer in the evening.
Where it works best
Because the fitting has such a small footprint on the wall, it suits narrow spots that would swallow a larger wall light: either side of a hallway mirror, along a landing, or flanking a chimney breast in a living room.
