The Vendela is a small, angular wall light with a distinct sculpted form, almost like a folded shield, that throws its beam down and out from a single point rather than glowing all over.

Black die cast finish

Finished in black, the die cast aluminium body has crisp, angled faces that catch the light differently depending on where you're standing, with a polycarbonate lens set flush over the light source. The result reads as modern and architectural rather than a traditional lantern shape.

How It Works

An 8W integrated LED produces 680 lumens of warm 3000K light from a single downlighter set into the angled face, aimed to wash a wall or doorway below rather than spread light in every direction. It is not dimmable, so it is designed to be switched on and off rather than adjusted, and because the LED is built in there's no bulb to change later on.

Where It Works Best

Its compact size and directional beam suit front doors, porches, garages and boundary walls, anywhere you want a defined pool of light rather than a broad wash. An IP65 rating means it copes with driving rain and direct exposure, so it can go on an exposed wall as readily as a sheltered porch.

Elstead Lighting

Vendela is part of the Elstead Lighting collection, a British lighting group whose roots trace back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the same Lucas family today.
