A neat drum of light for low ceilings
The Tamar flush fitting keeps a simple drum shape sitting close to the ceiling, so it works wherever a pendant would hang too low or a bathroom simply doesn't have room to spare. A cylindrical opal glass diffuser spreads the light evenly across the room rather than throwing a single hot spot from below.
Polished chrome
The frame is finished in polished chrome with a bright, mirror like shine, and two knurled thumb screws on the outer edge hold the glass in place while doubling as a neat decorative detail. A small chrome finial sits at the centre of the diffuser's underside, echoing the same shine as the frame above it.
How It Works
Tamar takes a single 9W LED GX53 lamp, not included, so once it's wired in there's no visible lampholder, just the opal glass glowing evenly from within. Fit a dimmable GX53 lamp and the light will respond to a dimmer switch; a standard, non dimmable lamp won't dim even on a dimmer circuit. The fitting is Class I, so it needs to be properly earthed as part of installation.
Where It Works Best
Its low profile makes it a natural fit for bathrooms and en suites where ceiling height is tight, as well as corridors, box rooms, porches and loft conversions with sloped or lowered ceilings. Anywhere a pendant would hang too low, Tamar sits flush and out of the way instead.
