Elstead Taiko 4 Light Pendant - Olde Bronze

Add a fourth light to the Taiko frame and the crossed bronze rods only get busier underneath, more overlaps, more shadow lines thrown against the shade above. It is a striking centrepiece for a room that can take a bit of drama.

This size comes in Olde Bronze, a matte, deep brown finish across every rod, chain link and ceiling plate, topped with a wide drum shade in neutral linen edged in a soft taupe band.

How it works

Four E27 bulbs light the space from inside the metal cluster, casting light through the gaps in the rods and up through the linen shade at the same time, so the fitting glows from two directions at once.

Where it works best

At 550mm across, this is the size for a proper dining table, a generous kitchen island or a double height stairwell where you want the light to be seen from more than one angle.

It belongs to Elstead's more architectural side, a step away from the lanterns and chandeliers the brand is best known for, but built to the same standard.
