A spotlight for one specific job

The Selma is a directional LED wall light built to do one thing well: put a confident beam of light exactly where you point it. A long straight arm carries the angled head away from the wall, and a simple pivot joint at the elbow lets you swivel that head up, down or across once it is fixed in place, so the beam lands squarely on a house sign, a number plate, a piece of artwork or any other single feature rather than washing the whole wall.

Matte black, built for outdoor walls

This version is finished in a deep matte black, with the arm, backplate and conical head all in die cast aluminium and the fixings in stainless steel, which keeps rust at bay on an exterior wall. The head has a clean, tapered profile, more architectural spotlight than traditional lantern, and it holds its position firmly once it is angled rather than drifting in the wind.

How it works

A 16W LED is built into the head itself rather than sitting behind a replaceable bulb, giving a warm 3000K light output of 2240 lumens. It is not dimmable, so it runs at that fixed brightness whenever it is switched on. Class II construction means the fitting is double insulated and does not need a separate earth connection, and the whole unit is rated IP66, which covers wind driven rain and powerful water jets, so it copes just as well fully exposed as it does under a porch.

Think entrances, gable ends, house number plaques and signage panels, anywhere a single target needs picking out rather than the whole facade lighting up. With the arm reaching up to 71.7cm from the wall, there is enough scope to clear guttering, hanging baskets or low eaves and still bring the beam in cleanly onto the surface below.

Can I angle the head after it has been fixed to the wall? Yes. The pivot joint at the elbow stays adjustable once the backplate is screwed in place, so you can tilt the head up, down or across to bring the beam onto a sign or feature after installation.

Is the bulb replaceable? No. The Selma uses a 16W LED built into the head itself rather than a separate bulb, so there is nothing to change, the fitting is simply designed to keep running at 2240 lumens for the long term.

Will it hold up somewhere fully exposed to the weather? Yes. It carries an IP66 rating, which covers wind driven rain and powerful water jets, so it is suitable for an open gable end or an exposed wall as well as a sheltered doorway.
