Elstead Provence Single Table Lamp - Polished Nickel

A lamp built for adjusting, not just admiring

The Provence table lamp takes its cue from an old drafting studio rather than a French salon. A jointed steel arm swings and tilts on two knuckle joints, ending in a simple angled cone shade that can be pulled in close to a page or swung up out of the way.

The polished nickel finish

This version comes in polished nickel, a bright, mirror like plate that runs the length of the arm and picks out every knuckle joint where it bends. It reads cool and reflective rather than warm, so it suits rooms already built around silver, chrome or glass.

How It Works

Two arm sections pivot on knuckle joints, letting the shade tilt and swing through a wide range of positions rather than staying fixed in one spot. It takes a single E27 LED bulb, which is not supplied, and stands on a weighted circular base, plugging into any standard socket rather than needing anything hardwired in.

Where It Works Best

Put it on a desk, a console table or a nightstand wherever you want light aimed at one spot rather than filling the whole room. The reach of the arm means a single lamp can throw light further across a work surface than a fixed shade would manage, useful for reading in bed or working late at a desk.
