Same silhouette, brighter finish

Where the Old Bronze version of this lamp disappears into a room, the Polished Nickel reflects it back. The angled arm and cone shade catch light from every direction, giving the same lamp shape a much brighter, more reflective character.

The shape

Two knuckle joints run down a slim upright column, ending in a weighted round base. The cone shade tilts on its own hinge at the top of the arm, so you can angle the light down onto a desk or up and across a room.

How it works

Adjust the arm to bring the shade close for reading or swing it out and up for a wider spread of light across a chair or a corner of a room. Once set, the joints hold their position without drifting.

Where it works best

A good fit next to an armchair, a desk, or wherever a floor lamp needs to earn its keep rather than just fill a corner. The base takes up very little floor space for how far the arm can reach.

Elstead's take on an old idea

Elstead Lighting has been building traditional and transitional fittings from its base in Alton, Hampshire since 1971, and Provence is one of its nods to a more utilitarian, continental style rather than its usual country house look.
