Porto strips the classic ship's lantern back to one clean line. A single angled bracket curves out from the wall and drops straight into a smooth teardrop of clear glass, with no cage of glazing bars or extra ironwork to get in the way. It's a quiet, modern take on an old outdoor shape.

The bracket is 304 grade stainless steel, powder coated in a flat slate grey, so the colour sits in the coating rather than wearing off with weather. A narrow groove runs down the outer edge of the arm, the only real detailing on an otherwise plain surface, and the glass shade underneath stays completely clear so the light itself does the work.

How It Works

One E27 lamp holder sits inside the glass, wired to Class I electrics with a proper earth connection. Fit a dimmable bulb and Porto will dim with it; fit a standard one and it will simply switch on and off. The bulb itself isn't included, so you can choose the wattage and colour temperature that suits the spot it's going in.

Rated IP44, Porto is built to take wind and driving rain, which makes it a natural fit beside a front door, on a covered porch, or lighting the path to a side gate. Because it projects only 18.5cm from the wall and stands 18.8cm tall, it stays close to the surface rather than sticking out, so it suits narrow porches and tight side passages just as well as a wide entrance.
