Elstead Picture Light Single Small - Polished Chrome

A cooler take on a classic picture light

This small single picture light follows the same simple idea as the rest of the range, a cylindrical shade on a curved arm that beams light down onto whatever is hanging below, but in a finish with a distinctly cooler character.

Polished Chrome gives it a bright, cool silvery shine, which tends to suit more contemporary rooms, black and white photography, or frames in chrome or nickel rather than gold. The square backplate carries the same pressed fan detailing as the other finishes in the collection.

How it works

A single bulb lights the inside of the shade and casts its glow forward and down. The wire wrapped arm has an adjustable joint held by a small wing nut, so the shade can be tilted to exactly the right angle once it is on the wall.

Where it works best

It is a good match for hallways and living rooms with a more modern palette, and works equally well lighting a mirror in an entrance or a print above a desk in a home office.
