Same long, slim picture light as its black sibling, but here finished in a mottled black gold that reads more like tarnished brass than a flat paint colour. Mounted above a frame on a gooseneck arm, it tilts to angle the beam exactly where you need it, rather than lighting the wall generally.

The black gold finish has a variegated, slightly weathered look, dark in the recesses and warmer where the light catches the raised edges. It sits well with gilt frames, aged brass door furniture or warm toned wood, and adds a bit more richness to a room than a plain black fitting would.

How It Works

Two E14 LED bulbs sit inside the bar, throwing light evenly along the width of whatever is beneath it rather than concentrating it in the middle. A small knurled knob on the gooseneck arm lets you tilt the head to aim the beam. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose a warm or cool LED to suit the piece you are lighting.

Where It Works Best

Ideal above an oil painting, an ornate mirror or a large framed print, especially where the frame itself has some gilding or warmth to it that a cooler finish would not complement as well. It works just as happily in a hallway, dining room or study as a living room.

Are bulbs included with this picture light? No. It takes two E14 LED bulbs, which are not supplied, so you can choose the colour temperature that suits the painting or print you are lighting.

Can I adjust the angle of the light? Yes. The gooseneck arm has a knurled knob that lets you tilt the bar to aim the beam directly at the artwork rather than the wall around it.

Is this picture light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable E14 bulbs. A non dimmable bulb will not respond to a dimmer switch.
