A shorter post for smaller gardens

Not every garden has the room for a full sized lamp post, so Philadelphia also comes in this scaled down pillar version, just over a metre tall with the same lantern head, fluted column and hexagonal base as its bigger sibling in the range.

Old bronze finish

The whole fitting, from the lantern's crown finial and shell scroll brackets down to the fluted post itself, is cast in a deep old bronze with hand finished copper toned highlights picked out along the edges and joints. Behind the metalwork, blown amber glass panels give the lantern a warm, slightly uneven texture rather than a flat, clear pane.

How it works

A single lamp glows behind the amber, textured glass, giving the same warm, slightly uneven light as the rest of the Philadelphia range rather than a flat modern beam. It takes one E27 bulb, and is dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb.

Where it works best

At around 116.5cm this suits a front garden path, either side of a modest gateway, or a spot near a driveway where a full height post would dominate the space. It's IP44 rated, so it's built to cope with being outdoors in all weather. It fixes down permanently through its hexagonal base plate, so it works best as a planned, semi permanent feature rather than something you move around.
