A full height lamp post for the garden

This is the full sized Parish lamp post, built to stand at proper street lamp height rather than the lower profile of the Mini versions. A fluted, stepped base gives it a formal, almost architectural foot, while the same hexagonal glazed lantern head sits on top, keeping it recognisably part of the Parish family.

Finish

Finished in black with a fine textured coating, the post, base and lantern head all share the same tone, so the eye reads it as one continuous piece from the ground up. Clear glass panels in the lantern head keep the bulb fully visible.

How it works

It takes a single E27 lamp, is wired to Class I and has an IP44 rating, so it is built to be left outside permanently. The base measures around 23cm across and fixes down flat, so it needs a solid surface such as paving or a concrete footing rather than open ground.

Where it works best

Its height makes it the right choice where you want a light that genuinely illuminates a drive or path rather than just marking it, at the top of a driveway, beside a front gate, or set into a lawn or border where a taller light will not compete with the house itself.
