The Paignton bollard cuts a clean, upright profile for outdoor paths, its solid brass shaft topped with a crossed arch that cradles a frosted glass diffuser. At 700mm tall, this is the full height version of the design, built to mark out a driveway or a run of garden steps rather than sit low to the ground.

Antique brass finish

The antique brass finish carries a warm, slightly aged tone from the outset, and as an outdoor metal it will continue to weather and deepen in colour over time. It sits comfortably against stone, brick, gravel and timber, blending into a garden's existing materials rather than standing out from them.

How it works

One E27 lamp holder sits behind the frosted glass diffuser, suited to an 18W LED lamp, which is not included. The fitting runs on Class I electrics, so it needs an earthed connection and installation by a qualified electrician. Fit a dimmable LED lamp and the bollard will work on a dimmer circuit; a standard lamp will not.

Where it works best

Standing 700mm tall, the Paignton has enough presence to define a driveway edge, a run of garden steps or a path on its own, spaced out at intervals rather than grouped closely together. Rated IP55, it is built to handle rain and damp ground conditions without issue.
