The Orb table lamp is built around a rounded glass base, and this polished nickel and white combination is the version that leans brightest. How It Works

A single E27 bulb sits in the neck of the lamp, visible through the clear glass before the shade takes over and spreads the light out across the room. Fit a dimmable bulb and the lamp will respond to a dimmer switch or dimmable circuit, useful if you want it as a lower, softer light in the evening rather than at full brightness. The bulb itself isn't included.

At around 67cm tall with a 36cm shade, it's substantial enough to hold its own on a console table or sideboard, while its neutral palette also suits a bedside table where you don't want a strong colour competing with the rest of the room. Does the Orb table lamp come with a bulb? No. It takes a single E27 bulb, which isn't included, so you can choose the exact colour temperature and brightness you want.

Is this lamp dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable E27 bulb and use it on a dimmer switch or dimmable circuit. A standard, non dimmable bulb won't dim even on that kind of circuit.
