A porch light that looks up
Mounted on a curling black bracket, the Norfolk up wall lantern sends its light skyward from a lantern head that sits above the arm rather than below it, useful for washing light up a porch wall or gable end.
Small in scale, sturdy in build
Standing between 17cm and 26cm tall and just 12cm across, this is a compact fitting in black die cast aluminium. The glass panels are pieced together from five sections of leaded glass per side, arranged in the same diamond pattern found throughout the Norfolk range.
How it works
Wire in one E27 bulb (choose a dimmable LED if you want the option to dim) and let a registered electrician handle the installation. Rated IP43 for exterior use.
Where it works best
Either side of a front door, along a porch, or spaced across a garage wall, the up facing orientation suits anywhere you want light thrown onto the wall itself rather than down onto the ground.
It belongs to Elstead Lighting's Norfolk collection, part of the traditional exterior lighting the Hampshire based company has built its name on since the 1970s.
