Newbrighton trades the scrollwork and lantern shapes you see on most path lighting for a plain cylinder of solid brass, capped with a smooth dome and a single band of frosted polycarbonate at the head. Light spills both upward under the cap and downward around the base, so it marks a route without throwing glare into anyone's eyes.

Antique Brass

This antique brass finish starts life warm and slightly muted rather than mirror bright, and it's designed to age further once it's outside, taking on the kind of soft patina that suits a driveway or garden that's already a little established. The frosted polycarbonate band around the head diffuses the light source itself, so what you see is a soft glow rather than a bare bulb through the lens.

How It Works

Newbrighton takes one 18W E27 LED bulb, which isn't included, wired for Class I mains use, and it will work with a dimmer switch if you fit a dimmable bulb. The body is rated IP55, built to stay watertight and stable in genuinely wet, exposed ground, including coastal gardens where salt air and driving rain put off less resilient fittings.

Where It Works Best

At 25cm tall, Newbrighton sits low enough to line a driveway, path or border without competing with taller planting or a lamp post further along the same run. Space a few along a path edge and they'll mark the route at ankle height, or use a single one beside a gate or step where you want a discreet point of light rather than a strong beam.
