Milo's bulbous white ceramic base curves up into a slender neck, capped with a 36cm drum shade patterned in sharp fan shaped chevrons. The design borrows its geometry from art deco fan motifs, rendered here in pewter grey, warm taupe and threads of silver and gold on a pale ivory ground.

White, polished nickel and silver

The base is a glossy white ceramic, smooth and rounded at the foot before tapering to a narrow neck under the shade. A polished nickel collar sits just below the shade fitting, and a matching nickel ring forms the foot, giving the white ceramic a cool, reflective edge. The fan pattern on the shade pulls in grey, taupe and gold with fine silver metallic thread woven through, a quieter, more muted palette than the brighter colourways on the same Milo base.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the shade, so light diffuses softly through the fabric rather than shining directly, good for a warm ambient glow rather than reading light. Fit a dimmable E27 bulb and it will work with a dimmer switch. The bulb itself is not included.
