Elstead Milo 1 Light Table Lamp - White, Aged Brass & Orange

Like the rest of the Milo range, this lamp pairs a gently bulbous white ceramic base with a tall, tapering neck and an aged brass collar and foot. The 14 inch drum shade carries a fluid, wave like pattern in warm gold thread against a soft ivory ground, more textile art than obvious print.

How it works

A single E27 bulb sits inside the shade, so the light that escapes is diffused and warm rather than direct, useful for topping up a room's overall glow instead of lighting a page.

Where it works best

Try it on a bedroom chest of drawers, a hallway console, or either side of a sofa in the living room, wherever a softer light and a bit of texture are welcome.
