The Medstead is a flush half lantern, hexagonal in cross section and cut down the middle so it sits close against the wall rather than jutting out, useful where space by the door is tight.
It is finished in matte black cast metal, with a scalloped crown around the glass and a pointed finial on top, plus small decorative curves picked out along each glass panel.
How it works
One E27 lamp holder is fitted inside (bulb not included). The fitting is Class II, so it is double insulated and does not need an earth connection, and it will dim with a dimmable LED.
Where it works best
Front doors, porches and anywhere a light needs to hug the wall rather than project out into a path or driveway.
It is also available with a built in PIR sensor for anyone who wants the same look with automatic operation rather than a manual switch.
