One bulb, plenty of character

Strip the Louvre range back to a single light and what is left is a slim, lantern shaped cage with just one bulb glowing behind rows of angled glass slats. It has the same industrial attitude as its larger siblings, just scaled down to a size that suits smaller spots.

Painted gunmetal finish

The steel frame is finished in a brushed gunmetal, reading somewhere between silver and dark charcoal, with the clear glass louvres running down each side to catch the light rather than hide the bulb away.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits at the centre, on a chain that can be adjusted at fitting to set the exact drop you need. Dimmable if you choose dimmable bulbs. The bulb itself is not included, so you'll need to fit one before use.

Where it works best

Its narrow footprint makes it a good option for pendant runs above a breakfast bar, for pairing either side of a taller central light, or simply for a spot where a larger Louvre fitting would be too much. Equally suited to a kitchen or dining setting.

Elstead Lighting

The Louvre pendant comes from Elstead Lighting, a British lighting group whose history traces back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the same Lucas family today. This single pendant takes the same slatted, industrial look as the wider Louvre range and scales it down to suit a single point of light rather than a run of fittings.

What bulb does the Louvre pendant take? It takes a single E27 lamp holder. The bulb is not included, so choose an E27 bulb to suit, and pick a dimmable one if you want to use it on a dimmer switch.

Is the Louvre pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable E27 bulb. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
