Light you can see straight through

Hang this in the middle of a room and it becomes the thing everyone looks at twice. Four bulbs sit exposed inside a square steel cage, ringed by rows of clear glass louvres set at an angle so they catch the light rather than diffusing it, giving the whole fitting a layered, almost mechanical look.

Painted gunmetal

The steel is finished in a brushed gunmetal, somewhere between silver and dark charcoal depending on the angle, which lets the glass slats do the visual work without competing for attention.

How it works

Four E27 lamp holders sit back to back inside the cage. It hangs on chain that can be adjusted at installation to suit your ceiling height, and the fitting is dimmable as long as dimmable bulbs are fitted.

Where it works best

Its height adjustable drop makes it as suited to a high vaulted dining room as a more standard ceiling, and the open sided design means light spreads generously in every direction, good for kitchens and dining tables where you want presence as much as illumination.
