The Klampenborg pedestal takes the same wide, angled cap and glazed lantern head used across the Klampenborg range and sets it on a short post, standing just under 32cm off the ground. It's built for marking a corner, a step or the edge of a path rather than lighting a whole driveway from height, so it earns its place in twos or threes along a boundary rather than working alone.

The body is powder coated 304 stainless steel in a cool, silver grey that reads as a neutral metallic rather than a bright white, so it sits comfortably against stone, gravel, render or dark timber cladding. The lantern head keeps clear, flat sided glass panels around the bulb rather than a frosted or textured finish, which keeps the light itself crisp rather than softened.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the glazed head, under the wide angled cap that throws light outward and down while shielding it from glaring straight up. The fitting mounts onto a round base plate rather than a ground spike, so it sits on a hard, flat surface such as paving, decking or a concrete pad, and wires in the same way as the rest of the Klampenborg range. The bulb itself isn't included, so you can choose the exact warmth and brightness you want.
