This is the Klampenborg 1 Light Wall Lantern in Navy Blue, that familiar Scandinavian swan neck shape with a flat tilted shade sitting over a rounded glass shroud. The navy gives it a calmer, more tailored look than the usual black or white options, good for anyone who wants colour without shouting.

What it is made of

Underneath the paint it is 304 grade stainless steel, powder coated for a finish that holds up outdoors. The curved arm, wall plate, shade and glass all carry the same navy, so it reads as one considered piece rather than mismatched parts.

How it works

Fit a single E27 bulb inside the clear glass and it will glow through the shroud while the flat shade above keeps the light directed downward. Use a dimmable bulb if you want to turn it down of an evening.

Where it works best

The swan neck profile suits a porch, a garage wall, or either side of a back door, particularly on newer builds where a softer colour reads better than stark black. It is rated for outdoor use and holds its own against typical UK weather.
