The Kinsale stands close to two metres tall on its own base, built to work as a genuine lamp post rather than a small garden accent light. At the top, a six sided lantern head with a pitched, finialled roof throws light down and out the way a traditional street lamp does, so it reads as a proper fixed point of light rather than a decorative afterthought.

Black polymer and polycarbonate construction

The post, lantern frame and decorative base are all moulded in black polymer rather than cast metal, with clear polycarbonate standing in for glass in the lantern panels. It keeps the traditional lantern silhouette, bevelled panel lines and all, while giving the fixture the impact resistance and weather tolerance a post at this height needs when it's standing outdoors year round.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the lantern head, wired to Class II standard so no separate earth connection is needed. The bulb isn't included, so you can choose the output and colour temperature to suit the space, and fit a dimmable LED bulb if it's going onto a dimmer circuit. The post fixes straight down onto its own decorative base, so there's no separate plinth or mounting post to source.
