Elstead Kinsale Single Lamp Post - Black

A proper lamp post, not a pretend one

At close to two metres tall, the Kinsale lamp post is built to stand at eye level and above, casting its light down over a drive or lawn the way a genuine street lamp would rather than a garden accent piece. The six sided lantern head at the top keeps the same bevelled glass and pitched roofline as the rest of the Kinsale range, finished with a slim finial.

It is made in black, using a tough polymer body with polycarbonate glazing rather than cast metal and glass, so the height and the exposure that comes with it are not a weak point.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits behind the glass, wired to Class II standard with no earth required. The post itself stands 193cm tall on a 25.5cm decorative base, tall enough to light a good stretch of driveway or path from one fixed point.

Where it works best

This is the one to use where you want real reach, either side of a long driveway, marking the entrance to a property, or as a single statement post at the edge of a lawn. Being built for coastal exposure, it takes a battering from wind and rain in its stride.
