One lantern, two ways to fit it

The Kerry pedestal and porch light is the same compact four sided lantern as the rest of the range, built to either stand upright on its own decorative base or turn and hang from a ceiling bracket over a porch. It keeps its shape either way, a tapered lantern body with a neat finial, whichever way up it goes.

Finished in black

Black polymer construction with clear polycarbonate panels means the finish holds up without flaking or rusting, and the panels show the lamp inside clearly rather than softening it behind textured glass.

How It Works

It takes one E27 LED lamp, dimmable if you use a dimmable one, and the bulb isn't included. As a pedestal it fixes down through its square base plate onto a pier or wall top. As a porch light it hangs from a short ceiling stem instead, so check which fixing kit you need before you order.

Where It Works Best

Low garden walls, gate piers and pillar tops suit the pedestal fitting well, while the porch version is the better fit for a covered entrance or recessed doorway. Its resistance to knocks and corrosion makes either version a sensible choice for coastal or exposed positions where a lantern often takes the worst of the weather.

Can I use the Kerry as both a pedestal light and a porch light? Yes. It's the same lantern built to work either way, standing upright on its own base plate as a pedestal or turned and hung from a ceiling bracket as a porch light, just check you have the right fixing kit for the job.

Does the Kerry come with a bulb? No. It takes one E27 LED lamp and the bulb isn't supplied, so choose a dimmable E27 LED if you want to use it with a dimmer switch.

Is the Kerry suitable for a coastal or exposed spot? Yes. It's IP44 rated with an impact resistant black polymer body and clear polycarbonate panels that won't flake or rust, which is why it holds up well on gate piers, low walls and exposed porches.

How is the Kerry fixed in place? As a pedestal it fixes down through its square base plate onto a pier, wall or step. As a porch light it hangs instead from a short ceiling stem, so we'd recommend a qualified electrician wires and fits it.
