Elstead Kerry Single Lamp Post - Black

A full height lamp post for drives and gardens

The Kerry post carries a traditional four sided lantern head on a slim, straight pole that stands close to two metres tall, finishing on a decorative square base plate for fixing to a patio, driveway or path edge. It has the look of a classic cast iron garden lamp post without the weight, rust or upkeep of the real thing.

Kerry is made from black polymer with clear polycarbonate panels rather than painted metal, so the colour will not chip, fade or corrode where it stands out in the open. The finish holds up whatever the weather brings, without the repainting a cast or wrought iron post eventually needs.

How It Works

The lantern takes one E27 lamp, housed behind clear polycarbonate panels that show the light plainly rather than diffusing it, much like a traditional gas lamp would have done. Fit a dimmable E27 bulb and the post will dim as normal on a compatible circuit. The bulb is not included, and as with any mains wired outdoor fitting we recommend a qualified electrician carries out the installation.

Where It Works Best

Its height suits marking a driveway entrance, standing at the corner of a lawn or lighting a path from a distance, and its resistance to knocks and corrosion makes it a sound choice for coastal gardens or anywhere it might get brushed past by cars, bins or hedge trimmers.
