A classic lantern with a curl of ironwork on top
The Kent is built around a scrolled bracket that loops up and over before curling back on itself, holding a small square lantern out from the wall on a proper stem rather than flush against it. Diamond patterned bars cross the glass on each face, giving it the look of an old leaded window shrunk down to lantern size.
Finished in black
Cast in black painted aluminium with textured glass panels, it has enough detail in the scrollwork and the lattice to catch the eye in daylight, then settles into a warm check pattern of light once the lamp is on at night.
How it works
It takes a single E27 lamp, dimmable if you fit a dimmable one, so you can match the fitting to whatever control you already run on the porch or entrance.
Where it works best
Its compact size and traditional detailing make it a natural for cottage porches, terraced fronts and narrow passageways, anywhere a single, characterful light is wanted rather than a pair of larger lanterns.
