A classic lantern with a curl of scrolled ironwork
The Kent takes its shape from a single scrolled bracket that loops up and over before curling back on itself, holding a small square lantern out from the wall on a proper arm rather than flush against it. Diamond patterned bars cross the glass on each face, giving it the look of an old leaded window shrunk down to lantern size, a detail that reads clearly even from across a garden path.
Black cast aluminium and etched glass
It is cast in black painted aluminium, with enough texture in the scrollwork and the lattice bars to catch the light in daylight, then settle into a warm check pattern once the lamp inside is lit. The glass panels are etched rather than clear, so the bulb glows through a soft, textured pane instead of showing bare filament.
How It Works
The lantern holds a single E27 bulb, not included, and is dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb, so it can be wired into whatever switching or dimming you already run at the entrance. It is a Class I fitting, which means it needs to be properly earthed, so we always recommend a qualified electrician handles the install.
