The double gourd base is glazed in a bright white ceramic, its curved waist sitting on a polished nickel foot with a matching nickel neck fitting just below the shade. Above it, the shade itself is a 14 inch tapered drum in Celadine Yellow faux silk, a warm, buttery yellow with the gentle vertical striations you get from a genuine silk weave rather than a flat printed colour.

Isla takes a single E27 LED bulb, not included, and is dimmable when paired with a dimmable bulb, so the yellow shade can be turned down to a gentle glow for reading in bed or left brighter for everyday use.
