Elstead Holborn 2 Light Medium Half Lantern - Polished Chrome

A brighter finish on a familiar shape

This half lantern uses the same flat backed shape as the rest of the Holborn range, but finished in Polished Chrome for a cooler, more reflective look than the brass or bronze versions.

Polished Chrome finish

The chrome picks up whatever light is nearby, so the lantern catches the eye a little more than the darker finishes, especially against grey render or pale stone. The slatted top and clear glass panels are both finished to match.

How it lights up

Two E14 lamp holders sit inside, spreading light out through the glass rather than throwing it in one direction. Choose dimmable bulbs if you want the option to soften the light later.

Where it works best

As an exterior fitting, it suits porches, entrances and gateways, and works particularly well fitted in pairs either side of a door. The bright finish reads clearly even in low light, which helps if the fitting is doing double duty as a security or wayfinding light.
