The Hereford pedestal lantern has the rounded, traditional shape of an English carriage lamp, with scrollwork panels wrapped around a glass cylinder and a small finial on top.

Finish

Cast in black die cast aluminium with clear glass panels, it has enough detail to look handmade without being fussy.

How it works

One E27 lamp holder sits behind the glass, and the fitting will dim if you choose a dimmable bulb. Being a pedestal design, it mounts to a fixed base plate rather than a wall, so it works well marking a gate, path or driveway entrance.

Where it works best

Think driveways, gate posts, low garden walls and the start or end of a path, anywhere you want a light at eye or waist height rather than up on a wall.
