A wall light that adjusts to the room
Gunnislake is a single arm bathroom wall light in polished chrome, built around a shade that can be set facing up or down depending on where you need the light to fall. A textured glass shade breaks the beam into a soft, gridded glow rather than one hard pool of light, making it a considered choice for either side of a mirror.
Polished chrome and ribbed glass
The arm and circular backplate are finished in a bright, mirror polished chrome over a mild steel body. The shade itself is clear pressed glass, ribbed in fine vertical lines that catch and scatter the light rather than showing a bare bulb through plain glass.
How It Works
A knurled collar sits just below the backplate. Loosen it and the arm rotates, so the shade can point upward for a soft wash toward the ceiling or downward for more direct light onto a basin or worktop. It takes a single G9 bulb, best suited to a 3W LED, which is not included. Fit a dimmable G9 and the light will dim; a standard bulb will not respond to a dimmer switch.

Mounted either side of a mirror, or spaced along the wall above a double vanity, the adjustable shade means each light can be angled individually for shaving, makeup or general washing.
Elstead Lighting
Gunnislake comes from Elstead Lighting, a British lighting group whose roots trace back to The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, and which remains led by the Lucas family today. It's also available in a brushed brass finish, making it straightforward to match or contrast the metalwork with other fittings in the room.
