This is the head end of the Grampian design sold on its own, a hexagonal lantern built to fit over an existing post, pier or gate pillar rather than arrive with a pole attached. It carries the same acorn finial and scrolled roof brackets as the full Grampian lamp post, so a post you already own can be finished with a matching lantern instead of being replaced entirely.

Black finish, clear glass

The head is cast in a black finish with clear glass set into all four sides, so the bulb inside sits in the open rather than behind tinted or textured panes. A small access panel is built into the frame for the wiring connection once the lantern is fitted in place.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder sits on a central stem inside the lantern, and the underside of the head has a collar that slots over the top of a post. That makes it a straightforward way to replace a lantern head that has cracked or corroded, or to put together a custom outdoor post from separate parts rather than buying a complete unit you do not need.
