Elstead Grampian Single Lamp Head - Black - Head Only

Just the lantern, no post attached

This is the top of the Grampian design sold on its own, a hexagonal lantern head that fits over an existing post or pier rather than coming with one. It has the same acorn finial and scrolled roof brackets as the full lamp post, so it can carry the look across to a pillar or post you already own.

Black finish, open glass

The head is cast in black with clear glass on all four sides, so none of the light gets trapped or tinted the way it would behind coloured or textured panes. A small panel built into the frame gives access for wiring once it is in place.

How it works

A single bulb sits on a central lamp holder inside the lantern, and the underside has a collar that fits over the top of a post, which makes this a straightforward way to replace a tired or broken head, or to build up a custom post from separate parts.

Where it works best

It is really aimed at anyone who already has a post, pier or gate pillar in place on a drive or boundary and wants a matching period lantern for the top of it, rather than buying a complete post they do not need.
