Standing close to two metres eighty from base to finial, the Grampian recreates the shape of a traditional Victorian street lamp, sized for a front garden or driveway rather than a public road. A hexagonal lantern head topped with a pointed acorn finial sits on a long fluted pole, which steps down into a wide, ribbed base built to be bolted to the ground.

Lantern, pole and base are all cast aluminium with a steel core running through the post for extra rigidity, finished in a flat black that resists the chipping and rusting painted steel posts are prone to outdoors. The four glass panels around the lantern are left completely clear, so light spreads outward in every direction rather than pooling in one spot underfoot.

How It Works

One E27 LED lamp fits inside the lantern head, held well above head height once the post is installed, so it lights a wide stretch of driveway, path or turning area rather than one small circle of ground. The fitting doesn't include a bulb, so you can choose whichever E27 LED lamp suits the brightness and colour temperature you want.
