Elstead Glenbeigh Single Lamp Post - Black

A tall, simple marker for the drive

Just over 1.8 metres tall, the Glenbeigh lamp post puts a glowing white globe at roughly head height on a slim black column. It is built to be seen from a distance, marking out a driveway, gateway or path rather than lighting one small patch of ground.

Chosen for durability over decoration

The column and globe cage are moulded from black polymer, paired with an opal polycarbonate diffuser, materials picked because they shrug off knocks, damp and corrosion far better than painted metal ever would. It is wired to Class II double insulated standards throughout.

How it works

A single E27 lamp holder sits inside the globe, and it will dim if you fit a dimmable bulb. The hexagonal base is designed to sit flat on a hard standing or be set into paving, so installation is straightforward.

Where it works best

Best used in pairs or short runs along a driveway, either side of a gate, or spaced along a front path where you want the light to read clearly from the road after dark.
