Elstead Frida Single Small Wall Light - Graphite

The smaller Frida wall light wraps a wide graphite band around a clear polycarbonate cylinder, so the light source stays half hidden while a soft glow escapes above and below the band.

Graphite and a hint of glow

The body and mounting plate are die cast aluminium in a dark Graphite finish, with a single broad bar running around the middle of the clear lens. It's a simple bit of misdirection, the band blocks the direct glare of the bulb while still letting plenty of light spill out around it.

How it works

It takes one E27 bulb, which sits inside the cylinder and throws light out and slightly up and down past the edges of the band. Fit a dimmable bulb and you can soften the light for evenings on a patio or keep it brighter near a doorway.

Where it works best

At 16cm wide and high, it's a neat size for flanking a front door, lighting a porch or marking the way along a side passage. It's rated IP54, so it's built to handle life outdoors in wind and rain.
