Elstead Flamingo LED Table Lamp - Pink

Playful, not literal

This is not a flamingo ornament with a bulb stuck in it. It is a single sweep of metal, bent into a long curved neck, a hooked head and a looped leg, that happens to glow. Cast in a dusky pink, it leans more decorative than most table lamps, closer to a piece of tabletop sculpture that also lights a room.

Frame and finish

The pink powder coated frame is broken up only by a small black tip at the beak, a neat detail that stops the shape from reading as one flat block of colour. The base is a simple black disc, weighted enough to keep the tall, narrow silhouette steady.

How it works

An integrated 6W LED runs the full length of the frame, putting out 420 lumens of warm light along the whole curve rather than from one fixed point. There is no dimming function, just an in-line switch on the flex to turn it on and off.

Where it works best

Standing 50cm tall, it wants space to be seen properly, so a bedside table, a console in a hallway or a shelf with room around it will show the shape off far better than a crowded desk. The soft pink glow suits a bedroom or a living room corner where you want personality rather than pure task lighting.
