A flamingo drawn in one line

The Flamingo table lamp traces the shape of its namesake bird in a single continuous line of metal, from the hooked beak at the top down through a long curved neck to a looped leg standing on a round base. In matte black, the silhouette reads almost like a sketch, with the light itself forming the outline.

How it works

A 6W LED strip runs the length of the frame rather than sitting in a separate shade, so the whole S curve glows evenly at 420 lumens once switched on. It is not dimmable, and control is by a simple in-line switch on the cable, so there is nothing to set up beyond finding a socket.

Where it works best

At 50cm tall on a 15cm base, it is happy to stand on a console table, a wide bedside table or a desk, anywhere it has room to show off its shape rather than being crowded by other objects. Its soft, warm glow makes it as much a bedroom or living room piece as a desk lamp for evening use.
