The heart shaped scrollwork beneath the shade is the signature of the Falmouth range, and here it appears in a bright polished chrome that suits a sharper, more contemporary scheme.

Polished chrome runs across the wall plate and the curved frame below the shade, paired with a black fabric drum shade that gives the fixture a bit more graphic contrast than the frame alone would.

Light comes from two sources hidden behind the fabric shade, producing a warm 3000K tone through the diffuser rather than a hard, direct glare.

Where it works best

It works well either side of a mirror, where the heart shaped frame becomes a small detail worth noticing rather than competing with a bigger fitting overhead.
