A hardware led wall light
Douille pairs a matte black arm with polished brass at every joint, the rise and fall knob and the lamp holder, so the fixings themselves become part of the look rather than disappearing into a single finish. A ribbed glass shade hangs beneath on a dark twisted flex, catching the bulb's glow along its fluted lines.
Black and polished brass
The wall plate and the curved rise arm are painted in a deep matte black, while the knob, lamp holder and shade collar are left in polished brass. The result reads more graphic than either metal would alone, with the brass picking out the working parts of the fitting against the black frame.
How it works
Loosen the fixing where the flex leaves the wall plate and the ribbed glass shade slides up or down on its cord, so you can set the bulb height to suit the wall it's going on. Fit a dimmable bulb and it will respond to a compatible dimmer switch for softer evening light.
Where it works best
The contrast between black and brass suits kitchens and dining rooms with darker cabinetry or ironmongery nearby, and it works just as well either side of a hallway mirror or above a desk in a study.

Can I adjust how low the shade hangs? Yes. Loosen the fixing at the wall plate and the ribbed glass shade slides up or down on its cord, giving a drop anywhere between 32.4cm and 122.4cm.
Is the Douille wall light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable E27 bulb on a compatible dimmer switch. A non dimmable bulb won't dim even on a dimmer circuit.
What bulb does the Douille wall light take? One E27 bulb, we'd recommend an LED. The bulb is not included.
