Let the bulb do the talking
Douille skips the fully enclosed shade in favour of an exposed lamp holder, built for showing off a chunky, vintage style filament bulb rather than hiding it. In Aged Brass, the holder and ceiling rose take on a warm, slightly weathered gold tone rather than a bright polished one, so it reads like a fitting that has already earned its place on the ceiling.
Aged Brass and ribbed glass
A ribbed glass shade wraps around the top of the bulb, catching some of the light without covering the filament itself. The flex is a twisted, brass coloured cord running down from a simple round ceiling rose, supplied long enough to be trimmed to whatever drop the room actually needs rather than fixed at one height.
How it works
Douille runs on a single E27 lamp, wired as a Class I fitting, and works with dimmable bulbs if you want to bring the light down without changing fittings. Because the cord is cut to length on installation, it can hang low over a worktop for task lighting or sit higher for a softer, more general glow.
Where it works best
It earns its place above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, where one warm pool of light is enough and there is no need to crowd the worktop below. Hang two or three in a row along a run of cabinetry, or use a single pendant over a small dining table where a bulkier shade would feel like too much.

Does the Douille pendant come with a bulb? No. It takes a single E27 LED lamp which is not included, so you can choose the exact style and warmth of filament bulb you want on show.
How low can I hang the Douille pendant? It is supplied with 2m of cord and the drop is set on installation, so it can be hung anywhere from around 25.5cm up to 215.5cm below the ceiling rose.
Is the Douille pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as it is fitted with a dimmable E27 bulb. The fitting itself does not limit this.
