Lantern styling that lies flat against the wall

Most coach lanterns stand out from the wall on a bracket. Deco Lane is built differently, with a flat back that sits directly against the brickwork while keeping the dome top and four sided glazed shape that makes it read as a proper period lantern rather than a plain box light.

A pale cream cast

Cast in aluminium and finished in cream, it is the lightest colour in the range and shows up clearly against red brick, dark render or stained timber rather than disappearing into them. The clear polycarbonate panels keep the bulb in full view, with nothing patterned or tinted in the way.

How it works

Inside sits a single E27 LED lamp, and because the panels are clear rather than frosted, the light comes through as a fairly direct point source. It's dimmable if you fit a dimmable bulb.

Where it works best

Sitting almost flush to the wall, it needs very little clearance, so it earns its place on narrow porches, either side of a front door, or along a passage where a projecting lantern would get in the way of anyone passing.
