A flush fitting take on the coach lantern
Rather than projecting on a bracket the way most exterior lanterns do, Deco Lane is cast with a flat back that sits straight against the wall. The dome top and four glazed sides that make it recognisably a coach lantern are all still there, just held in a shallower footprint that keeps it close to the brickwork.
A warm bronze cast
The aluminium body wears a deep, earthy bronze rather than a bright metallic tone, closer in feel to old ironwork than polished brass. The clear polycarbonate panels leave the filament style LED lamp fully visible inside, so nothing is dimmed or tinted on the way through.
How It Works
A single E27 LED lamp sits behind the clear glazing, giving a direct point of light rather than a soft wash. The bulb itself is not included, so you can choose the style of filament lamp you like, and the fitting will dim if you use a dimmable one.
Where It Works Best
Its shallow depth means it will not catch on passing traffic through a porch or a narrow side gate, and the bronze tone suits cottages and older brick or stone fronted houses particularly well, whether standing alone by a door or in a pair either side of it. It carries an IP44 rating, so it is built to cope with rain and damp on an exterior wall.
