A crown for the wall
Crown takes its cue from royal regalia, a pair of tapered candle arms rising either side of a hexagonal wall plate, each one finished with a pointed finial underneath. It has the upright, symmetrical look of a traditional candle sconce, reimagined as a two light wall fitting for everyday use.
Iron Gate finish
The Iron Gate finish is a grey painted steel tone with a distinct water droplet texture worked into the surface, so up close the metal has a pitted, weathered look rather than a flat, uniform coat. It reads as an aged, hand finished grey rather than a plain matte black or silver, giving Crown a slightly rustic character.
How It Works
Two E14 candle style arms sit either side of the hexagonal backplate, each one topped with a drip pan below the lamp holder for that traditional, candlelit look even though it runs on ordinary E14 bulbs rather than real wax. Fit dimmable bulbs and the light will respond to a dimmer switch, taking it from a low background glow to something brighter.
Where It Works Best
At under 30cm high and projecting just 2.2cm from the wall, Crown sits close to the surface, making it a good option either side of a fireplace, along a hallway, or flanking a mirror in a dining room where you want a traditional silhouette without the fitting projecting far into the room.
