Six arms around a broad iron ring
The Cromwell 6 Light Chandelier is built around a wide banded ring of wrought iron, riveted rather than smoothed over, with six candle style arms reaching out on flared, ball tipped feet. It's a step up from the five light version in the same range, still compact enough to sit over a kitchen table but with enough presence to carry a dining room on its own.
Old Bronze finish
The Old Bronze finish is worked unevenly across the metal, deeper and darker in the recesses of the band and rivets, lighter across the raised edges and the candle arms themselves. It reads as aged, hand worked metal rather than a flat painted surface, and the visible rivets along the ring add to that sense of something forged rather than moulded.
How It Works
Six E14 lamp holders sit openly on the arms, each with its own drip pan, so the fitting works as a feature in its own right before any bulb is switched on (LED candle bulbs are not supplied). The chain lets the drop be adjusted from around 77cm up to 281cm, giving enough range for a standard ceiling or a taller room, and it will dim if fitted with dimmable bulbs.
Where It Works Best
At 81cm across, Cromwell works well centred over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or in a hallway with enough height to let the chain show. It fills the space without tipping into the scale of the largest chandeliers in the range, so it suits a room that wants presence without dominating it.
Elstead Lighting
Cromwell is part of the Elstead Lighting collection. The brand takes its name from The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, where its history began, and remains led by the same Lucas family today. The same wrought iron ring and Old Bronze finish run through the whole Cromwell range, from a three light chandelier and a two light wall light up to an eighteen light version for larger rooms, so this six light size sits roughly in the middle of the family.

Does the Cromwell 6 Light Chandelier come with bulbs? No. It takes six E14 candle style bulbs, and we recommend LEDs, but they are not included.
Can I adjust how low it hangs? Yes. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from around 77cm up to 281cm, so it can suit both a standard ceiling and a taller room.
Is the Cromwell 6 Light Chandelier dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
