Cromwell takes the shape of an old cartwheel and turns it into a small chandelier, a ring of wrought iron carried on three candle style arms rather than a spread of ornate scrollwork. This three light version keeps the ring to just 60cm across, so the shape reads clearly without needing a large room to sit in.

Old Bronze finish

The ring, chain and candle arms are all finished in Old Bronze, a deliberately uneven, aged tone rather than a flat single colour, so the metal looks weathered and handworked instead of freshly painted. It suits the exposed rivets and strapwork along the ring, which are left visible as part of the design rather than smoothed away.

How It Works

Three E14 lamp holders sit evenly spaced around the ring, each on its own candle style arm with a drip pan beneath the bulb. The fitting hangs on a chain that adjusts from 49cm up to 100cm, so it can be set close to a low kitchen ceiling or dropped lower over a table. Fit dimmable bulbs and Cromwell will dim on a compatible dimmer switch; bulbs are not included. As with any hardwired ceiling fitting, having it installed by a qualified electrician is recommended.
